Small Business Awards Luncheon with Keynote Ralph DeStephano

Each year, the Greece Chamber of Commerce honors all small businesses at its Small Business Awards luncheon. Business leaders, professionals and supporters of the community from across the region come together at this prestigious event that names two enterprising firms whose innovative approach to business deserves special recognition as the Greece Chamber’s Small Business of the Year and Microenterprise of the Year.
The luncheon will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Rochester Marriott Airport Hotel, 1890 West Ridge Rd., Greece. Registration and Networking from 11:45 am–12:00 pm, Luncheon Program at 12:00 pm. Greece Chamber Members: $35 pp and $350 for table of 10. General Public: $45 pp and $450 for table of 10.
“I’m delighted to announce that Ralph A. DeStephano, Owner of Buckman Enterprises, has agreed to serve as the keynote speaker for our 2016 Small Business Awards Luncheon on November 10,” said Sarah Lentini, Greece Chamber of Commerce President and CEO. “Ralph’s success in a variety of industries spans many decades. He and his family have spearheaded several community initiatives that remain pivotal to our region. A long-time champion of both business and community, Ralph has been a particularly ardent supporter of youth and education, resulting in his founding the Greece Educational Foundation and the Greece Youth Hall of Fame.”
Mr. DeStephano has served in the commercial and residential real estate construction management arenas for more than 40 years. He has served on numerous boards and created and organized programs and services that have enriched the business community and the quality of life for families, residents and youth for more than five decades. His current professional affiliations include: Director, Rochester Regional Health; Director/Chairman, Park Ridge Housing Board; Member of the Greece Education Foundation; Member of the Monroe County Council for Elders; Founder and Past Chair of the Youth Hall of Fame; and Member of the National Ice Cream Retailers of America. He has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards including Greece Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year (2008); Willie Lightfoot Youth Advocate of the Year (2002); Marguerite Hare Browne Service to Education (1998); Richard Scheuerman Award (1997); and Empire Builder Award (1989).
