Greece Regional Chamber Convenes Business & Education Panel

On Thursday, February 1, 2018, the Greece Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted Emerging Issues in Business & Education: A Moderated Panel Discussion at Ridgemont Country Club. The event was made possible with lead sponsorship from Bryant & Stratton College and drew approximately 70 business leaders from throughout the area.The panel was moderated by Radio Host Steve Hausmann of Entercom Rochester and included  Kathleen Graupman, Superintendent of Schools, Greece Central School District; Casey Kosiorek, EdD, Superintendent of Schools, Hilton Central School District; Peter Lawrence, New York State Assemblyman; Heidi R. Macpherson, PhD, President, The College at Brockport; Lori Parker, Esq., Parker Law Office LLP; David Perotto, Vice President, Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home; William Reilich, Supervisor, Town of Greece; Joseph Robach, New York State Senator; Jeff Tredo, Director of Rochester Colleges, Bryant & Stratton College; and Microenterprise of the Year Deborah Whitt of Deborah Ham Whitt Agency.

The panel discussed a broad range of key issues and strategies relevant to business and education, surfacing several major themes. Greece Regional Chamber business and education leaders will be meeting to develop follow-up actions in response to concerns and opportunities identified through the panel discussion.
