Remembering Stella

This tree fell directly on a house on Mt. Read Blvd. in Greece.
And Then Snow Storm Stella…
Just a week after a record setting windstorm devastated the area bringing winds up to 81 mph, mother nature again showed her strength in the form of a snow storm with up to 31 inches of snow blanketing the Rochester area. Clean-up and power restoration from the windstorm was nearly complete when the snow blew in. Rochester area schools, businesses and roads were closed and many found themselves once again house bound. Snow clean-up tested the stamina of area utility and maintenance workers, and of course homeowners.

After a blanket of snow further stressed tree limbs, tree trimming continued at this home on Beach Avenue in Greece.

Clean-up of downed limbs at this Beach Avenue home was further complicated by a March snow storm that hit less than a week after the wind storm.
