Scouting For Food Drive

By on May 2, 2018

On Saturday, March 24th, the Boy Scouts participated in their annual Scouting for Food Drive at Greece Odyssey Academy.

Scouts worked hard to gather, sort and box the food brought in by dedicated scouts and parents who went door-to-door collecting food from the Greece community.

The nine Boy Scout Troops, five Cub Scout Packs and one Venturing Crew consisted of 375 youth and 330 adult volunteers. They were able to help out two community Food Shelves with 211 boxes of food, weighing about 2.4 tons. The Scouts appreciate the great support received from the community each year for the Scouting for Food Drive.
