From the kitchen crew preparing the pasta, to the Rotarians providing sweet treats at the end of the meal, the 42nd Annual Greece Italian Festa Dinner was a success. A continuous stream of hungry diners filled the Diplomat Party House hall for five hours on January 27, 2019. Attendees were well taken care of by Greece Rotarians, their families, friends and volunteers as well as student volunteers from the Athena and Odyssey High School Interact Clubs. This is the Rotary’s biggest fund raiser with close to $40,000 projected. Proceeds from the dinner provide funding for year round Club community projects.

The first Ziti Dinner, 42 years ago, was organized by Ralph Annucci as he looked for a new source of revenue for the Club. Over $800,000 has been raised since that first dinner, giving Honorary Chair Annucci good reason to smile, he continues to oversee this annual event.

“Truly a success due to the extraordinary efforts of so many people,” Rotary Club President Andy Gray said.
