On July 2, 2019, Kiwanis Club of Greece presented a check for $2,100 to Honor Flight – Rochester. This will pay for four Veterans to go on a flight. This money was raised during the Annual Pancake Breakfast that was held on May 19th.

Honor Flight also received a surprise donation by Rose Madlen, sister of the former Pat Bonacci who was a very active and well-known Kiwanian in the Greece Club, and also within the New York District.

Steve Wendell was Honor Flight’s representative there that day and gave an informative update on this amazing organization. Rochester (started June 2008) is one of the 130 established hubs in the National Honor Flight Network. There has been 66 missions and over 3,200 Veterans that have been able to experience Honor Flight.
