Interact Elves help Santa.

Holidays have a special meaning to Greece Rotarians as they celebrate each year with the children of Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES.

Over 100 special needs childen and their 115 teachers and caregivers joined the Club for a very special Luncheon at Ridgemont Country Club. The room quickly filled with excitement, while a clown and a magician (Rotary’s very own past  DG Bill Gormont!) entertained prior to lunch. Following lunch, the Event of the Day occurred with the arrival of Santa Claus. After leading the group in singing Rudolph…Santa greeted each and every child and accepted their presentation of a letter to him… listening carefully to requests before  presenting a gift bag!

Helping Santa during this activity are students from Rotary’s Greece Odyssey Interact Club. The Interact students also help throughout the event,  greeting attendees and serving lunch.

Greece Rotarians are forever grateful for the opportunity to share their time  and energies and bring  so much joy to this special group every  year, as they have been doing for over 20 years.
