Governor Cuomo made another visit to the Town of Greece to visit areas of flood damage and speak with victims.

While here, the Governor announced a $500,000 payment to reimburse the Town of Greece for infrastructure damages incurred by the town. This is great news for our Town of Greece taxpayers. Additionally, the Governor has joined our voices to have the IJC release as much water as possible. While this is good news, we are far from done as we continue to fight the IJC and provide information and resources to our Greece residents who have been affected by the rising lake levels. Additionally, the Governor was here for the installation of a new aqua dam. The aqua dam is much wider and denser than the previous one and is holding well.

“Today’s announcement of a $500,000 reimbursement to the Town of Greece for infrastructure damages incurred by the town is great news for our taxpayers. Financial assistance to lakefront residents continues to be my top concern and priority,”  Reilich said.
