An official Eagle Scout Award Medal Presentation Ceremony was held on August 15, 2018 at the Town Board Meeting. The Town of Greece Eagle Scout Recognition Medal is presented to all Boy Scouts who have recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in their local troop.

A proclamation and medal were awarded to Kent Johnson who has recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop Number 278. Kent attained the rank of Eagle Scout through his efforts in building and installing three flower beds at the Gardens at Town Center Apartments in Greece. The first flower bed surrounds the flagpole at the entrance and the other two are located behind the building.

“Thank you for your dedication to a project that will enhance the quality of life for residents at the Gardens at Town Center Apartments,” Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich said during the presentation ceremony.
