Rochester audiences will have the opportunity to journey into the enchanted forest of the Grimm’s Brothers when RAPA Family Theatre presents the beloved fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel, February 4-12, 2017 at the Kodak Center for the Performing Arts. RAPA Family Theatre is a professional troupe of adult and youth actors who bring classic children’s literature to life so that families can experience iconic stories like never before.

Adapted for the stage by William Glennon, this version of Hansel and Gretel tells the story of White Bird and the Gnome who fall under the spell of the Wicked Witch and are forced to lure children deep into the forest so that the Witch can eat them!

The show is directed by actress and playwright, Adele M. Fico, who most recently starred in RAPA’s production of In the Heights. The cast features a range of professional adult actors as well as several youth performers. As always, audience members can meet the characters after the show and enjoy photo opportunities, gather autographs and create special moments.
