Rochester Baseball Historical Society President, Joe Territo will be on hand to share part of his personal collection of baseball artifacts. The exhibit includes unique uniforms, bats, gloves and other items from the 19th Century and early 20th Century. See how the game of Baseball evolved during one of its most interesting periods.
• Tuesday, April 11, 2017, Greece Public Library*, 2 Vince Tofany Blvd. Greece. James Hard: The Last Surviving Combat Civil War Veteran. A presentation by David Crumb.
James Hard was the nations last Union Combat Veteran of the Civil War. Hard was a Rochester, New York icon through the 1940s and 1950s. David Crumb has researched Hard’s life and created a program that covers the history of Hard’s incredible life from 1841-1953.
