Interactive Experience, Man of La Mancha, at Century Club

Judith Ranaletta presents the Broadway classic “Man of La Mancha” like never before seen.

OFC Creations and Judith Ranaletta will be presenting the Broadway classic, Man of La Mancha, from March 4 to 8, 2020 at the Century Club of Rochester.

Inspired by Miguel de Cervantes’ seventeenth-century masterpiece Don Quixote, Man of La Mancha, is one of the most successful musicals in Broadway history. Cervantes is in prison awaiting trial. He and his fellow prisoners perform a play-within-a-play, telling the story of the elderly Alonso Quijana, who renames himself Don Quixote and goes on a quest to right all wrongs in the world. Featuring classic numbers including “The Impossible Dream,” “I, Don Quixote,” “Dulcinea,” “I Really Like Him” and “Little Bird,” the story transforms the prisoners and touches the audience.

Man of La Mancha will be uniquely staged like never-before-seen throughout several rooms of the historic Rochester Century Club as a moving interactive experience. Audience members will become part of the show as they move through the mansion while understanding the show from a new perspective.

The production stars New York City based actress, Kaitlyn Baldwin, alongside Jim Corbett, Don Sheffrin,  Nate Harris, John Cabott, Josiah Lloyd, Aaron Grippo, Paul Olcott, Jeannie Hines-Clinton, Grace Rundberg, Tammi Colombo, Gianna Trimboli, Desiree Alexander, Barbara Martorana, Zondra Accorso, Pam Ernst, Nick Samper, Alex Antonetti, and  Orlando Boxx.

Man of La Mancha is directed and co-produced by Judith A Ranaletta. Ranaletta is best known as the former longtime Artistic and Vocal Director for Greece Athena High School, and now is the director and founder of the ROC City Singers and is the Arts Program Director for the Century Club, bringing innovative and creative theater experiences to Rochester.
