Full Body Workout

This fast paced efficient full body fat burning workout can be done at home with minimal equipment (dumbbells, a bench, and exercise mat) or in a gym. It is designed to get a full body workout with cardio benefits in 45 minutes or less.  It is a great starter workout for someone just beginning to exercise, or to use intermittently when your schedule is too hectic to keep up with your normal exercise program.

Be sure to always warm up before beginning. If you are unfamiliar with the specific exercise look on youtube.com or bodybuilding.com for a video to help you see the proper form or consult with a personal trainer.

Choose weights that will make 25 reps possible but not too easy. You should feel challenged when you are done with the set. For the cardio interval component use a piece of cardio equipment (treadmill, bike, elliptical) or do jumping jacks or jump rope.

•Chest flye

•Upright row

•Bent over row

5 minutes cardio – 25 reps per exercise 

•Plie Squats

•Dead lifts (straight leg)

•Reverse lunge

•Calf raises

5 minutes cardio – 25 reps per exercise 

•Shoulder presses

•Side raises

•Bicep Curl

•Overhead tricep press

5 min cardio – 25 reps per exercise 

• Bicycle crunches

•25 standing oblique crunches

•25 heels to heaven

•Plank hold 30 seconds
